Bentley Mulsanne previewed prior to 2013 Geneva Motor Show
For the 2014 model year Mulsanne, Bentley has announced a host of new luxury and entertainment features which will be unveiled at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. Highlight is the enhanced rear cabin comfort.
New Bentley Mulsanne will continue to be offered with the same 6.75 liter twin turbocharged V8 engine as seen in its earlier model. This engine is capable of a total of 505 hp and peak torque of 752 lb/ft. The engine is mated to a ZF built 8 speed transmission, while acceleration from 0 to 60 mph (97 kmph) is completed in just 5.1 seconds. Top speed stands at 184 mph (296 kmph). Comfort features will include headrests, footrests and duck down loose cushions. The rear door receives an arm rest storage compartment.
Where entertainment specifications are concerned, rear picnic tables designed for accommodating an iPad and wireless keyboard, twin 8” LCD headrest screens along with 20GB hard drive and DVD player and two sets of Bluetooth headphones and remote control will be available. There is also a Wi-Fi router on board.
Bentley Mulsanne delivers a mileage of 16.8 mpg/16.9 l/100km/5.9 kmpl, emitting 393 g/km of CO2. It will make its debut at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show with sales commencing from April 2013. Prices will also be announced closer to launch dates.
