F1 boss Bernie Ecclestone signs first copy of Formula 1 Opus at Buddh International Circuit

At an event which was graced by a number of prominent personalities spanning numerous disciplines, CEO of Formula 1 Bernie Ecclestone signed the Champions Edition of the Formula Opus. Timo Glock, monisha Kaltenborn and Jean-Eric Vergne were some of the other personalities who signed this copy. After singing of this copy, bidding was initiated proceeds of which would be used to help charities in Delhi. Starting amount of the auction was $100,000.

The Official Copy of the F1 Opus will embark on a global tour of 20 countries and will be signed by important personalities from the Formula 1 discipline all over the world. In this book, history of Formula 1 has been showcased in a manner never seen before.

Illustrations, and interviews entered in this book tell a story of individuals who took their quest for speed to a whole new level. Formula 1 opus Champions Edition is the heaviest book on Formula 1 racing. It weighs 37 kgs and is half a meter square big and 852 pages long. To top it all, each book has been hand bound using finest leather and silk materials.
