Dhoni is the first owner of Kawasaki Ninja H2 in India.

Not many are unaware of Dhoni’s love for superbikes. On the sidelines of Dhoni led Bike Festival of India inauguration, we asked Dhoni, how many bikes do you own? He answered 30, with the widest possible smile on his face. That was over a year ago. And we would not be surprised if the list of bikes owned by Dhoni has grown even further.

Today, the Indian Cricket Team captain has announced the addition of yet another superbike to his ever growing collection of motorcycles. This one is Kawasaki Ninja H2, one of the most exclusive Kawasaki motorcycles ever. Priced at Rs 29 lakhs ex-showroom New Delhi, the price Dhoni paid to get the bike home is about Rs 34 lakhs, which includes registration, local taxes, special number, etc.

India Kawasaki Motors, the completely owned subsidiary of Japan’s Kawasaki Motors. launched their flagship motorcycle, Kawasaki Ninja H2 in India on 3rd April. The launch event took place at Buddh International Circuit in Greater Noida.

As the Ninja H2 is a limited production model, only five units have been allotted to India, all of which have been already spoken for. At the time of launch, we did ask Kawasaki officials as to who was the first owner. They did not reveal the name. We are not complaining any more.
