BMW 1 Series restyled by Prior Design
BMW 1 Series was first introduced back in 2004 in Europe. India is scheduled to received the 1 Series this year, in 2013. German car tuning company, Prior Design have given the latest 1 Series a styling pacage.
German tuning house, Prior Design have taken the BMW 1 series in hand to give it a new look. This wide body kit is being offered for the BMW 1 Series Coupe that upgrades the aesthetics of the vehicle to give it the 1M appearance.
The PDM1 aerodynamic kit is adapted for both coupe and convertible models and comes with front and rear bumpers, side skirts, front fenders and rear widening. This tuning kit is compatible with all 1 Series E82/88 models except the 1M Coupe. The aftermarket specialists have revealed that these kits are made of Dura Flex with add on parts made of PU-RIM. The kit is priced at €2,999 (US$4,000) with the A rear trunk spoiler coming in for an additional €299 (US$400) along with quad tailpipe exhaust system and choice of alloy wheels. The PDM-1 Widebody Aerodynamic Kit ensures additional speed.
For performance tuning, customers will have to opt for G Power or another BMW tuner due to the fact that prior Design does not take care of straight six with 340 bhp.
