The five seater concept variant will be launched in production form as the 1 Series GT’s five seat variant, at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show this September, while the seven seat variant (spyshots here credit to Motor Authority), is expected to be unveiled at the 2014 edition of Frankfurt Motor Show.

Both five seater and seven seater bear much resemblance except for the fact that the seven seater has longer rear doors, a more enhanced roofline and rear overhang. A third row of seats has been added to accommodate two more passengers.

All new GT models are expected to sport the new generation of 1.5 liter turbocharged three cylinder petrol and diesel engines. These will have outputs varying from 120 hp to 222 hp where the gasoline engined variants are concerned, while the diesel engined options will have outputs from 80 hp to 180 hp.
