BMW 6 Series Gran Coupé and new BMW 3 Series sedan win best design innovation awards from auto, motor und sport readers

In the survey conducted by readers of the trade magazine ‘auto, motor und sport’ readers rated the BMW 6 Series Gran Coupé and the new BMW 3 Series Sedan the best in their segmentsfor the best design innovations 2012. With the declaration, BMW has managed to notch 2 autonis awards.

The BMW 6 Series Gran coupe is the first four door coupe which boasts of innovative styling and elegance. Styling and elegance can be seen within the cars interiors as also the exteriors of this vehicle. The BMW 3 series sedan has been designed on similar lines and has dynamic contours and styling which are further accentuated with the inclusion of the unmistakable BMW grille. Elegant designs, sportiness and an elongated wheelbase provide a superior look to these vehicles.

In excess of 14500+ readers took the survey where they judged over 102 models over a span of twelve months. In the upper range segment, the BMW 6 series Gran coupe was the favorite among readers while in the mid segment the BMW 3 series coupe stood out amongst the rest. Apart form this award, these vehicles have notable mentioning in many other surveys and award functions. These models have also been nominated for the ‘Design Award for Federal republic of Germany’.
