BMW CEO Harald Krueger faints in midst of presentation at Frankfurt Motor Show

In his first appearance at 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, the newly appointed BMW CEO, Harald Krueger was five minutes into the presentation that drew attention to the company’s latest models when he suddenly collapsed and fell on stage.

Complaining of dizziness, Mr. Krueger was escorted off the state by two men. He was examined by doctors who certified Mr. Kreuger’s health as stable while he is on the road to recovery. Spokesperson for BMW, Maximilian Schoeberl, stated that the 49 year old CEO had been travelling a lot and even though he was not feeling well, he decided to go on with the press conference.

The press conference which was called off, was conducted later in the day by Chief Financial Officer Friedrich Eichiner with the unveiling of a new version of the super-luxury 7-Series Sedan and X1 compact SUV.
