BMW G310R vs KTM Duke 390, Yamaha MT03 test ride video emerges

First photo of BMW G310R displayed alongside rivals that include Yamaha MT-03, KTM Duke 390 and Kawasaki Z300 has been shared online. The photo was clicked at a recent event in Russia.

Along with the photo, a video has also been revealed which shows BMW G310R getting tested alongside its arch rivals, KTM Duke 390 and Yamaha MT-03.

The video goes on to show BMW G310R in motion along the streets of Russia, taking on rivals performance. You can clearly hear the bike’s exhaust note and see its acceleration. From the video, it seems that the acceleration of BMW G310R is impressive in the mid-range. It seems that BMW G310R beats KTM Duke 390 and Yamaha MT-03 when it comes to accelerating from 50-60 kmph to 126 kmph. Watch the video below.

One of the most anticipated bikes this year, BMW G310R is being produced at the TVS plant in Hosur, Tamil Nadu from where it will be exported to Europe, Russia and Asia. Earlier this month, the company had revealed a total of 41 markets where the BMW G310R will be sold. Sadly, India is not going to be the first country where the bike will be launched.

BMW G310R receives a 313cc single cylinder, liquid cooled engine offering 34 PS peak power at 9,500 rpm and 28 Nm torque at 7,500 rpm mated to a 6-speed gearbox. It gets disc brakes at both ends along with ABS. BMW claims a top speed of 143 kmph.

In terms of appearance, BMW G310R exudes quality, premium workmanship and sporty stance. It is light and strong and receives a sporty seat. It gets gold-anodized fork and brake calipers. The wide tyres with better road grip add to the rider’s confidence while it tips the scales at 158.5 kgs.
