BMW M5 30 Jahre M5 SE celebrates 30 years of M5
BMW celebrates 30 year anniversary of M5, their high performance sedan, with launch of an exclusive Special Edition of current fifth generation model. The epitome of elegance and powerful dynamics, BMW has released just 300 numbers of this Special Edition all of which are finished in Individual Frozen Dark Silver shade.
A highly desirable collector’s item, BMW M5 “30 Jahre M5″ is provided with a Competition Package contributing to enhanced handling. This Competition Package includes a revised chassis set up with solid spring/damper tuning and reduced ride height by 10mm. Active M Differential gives improved traction while M Specific Servotronic function leads to direct mapping. M Dynamic Mode of Dynamic Stability Control system in turn ensures better and sportier handling.
Exteriors of BMW M5 “30 Jahre M5″ is a head turner with its striking exterior paint along with kidney grille surrounds,”30 Jahre M5″ badging on front wing and door handle insets while twin exhaust tailpipes are finished in black chrome. The Special Edition M5 sits on 20” bi-colour M light alloy wheels wrapped with 265/35 ZR 20 tyres in the front and 295/30 ZR 20 tyres at the rear.
Interiors see BMW M5 “30 Jahre M5″ and individually numbered plaques “1/300″ (for example) logos on front door sills and embroidered onto backrests of all four high performance seats. These seats are multifunctional with electrical adjustments conforming to standards of ergonomics and comfort. Seats are upholstered in black Alcantara, while the same theme continues to M Sports steering wheel, centre console and door panels.
Infotainment abounds on board the BMW M5 “30 Jahre M5″ with high end surround sound system and a total of 16 speakers. Buyers can also opt for Harman Kardon’s 600 watt or Bang & Olufsen’s 1200 watt surround sound system.
The BMW M5 “30 Jahre M5 will be available starting May 21 for approximately $140,000 (INR 83,95,800).
