BMW M6 images revealed: Debuts at Detroit Show in Jan 2013

BMW M6 has been caught testing by photographers on several occasions. Most of the time, the powerful sports saloon was heavily camouflaged. For the first time, BMW M6 completely undisguised studio shots have been revealed on the internet toady. BMW will debut the new M6 at the 2013 Detroit Motor Show, which is scheduled to go live from 14 Jan 2013.

From the images here, one can see that the new BMW M6 will feature similar exterior styling compared to its two door cousin. It will also feature new bumpers, rear diffuser, twin exhaust pipes, carbonfiber reinforced plastic roof, fender air vents, and chrome trims on the double kidney grille.

Powered by the same 4.4L bi-turbo V8 that features in the M5, the new M6 will fire 553 hp power and 680 Nm torque. It is expected to have a top speed of over 300 kmph and a 0-100 kmph acceleration time of around 4 seconds. BMW is expected to reveal further details very soon.
