As a brand Apple doesn't like disappointing, and the company has served as the chosen entertainment package for auto giants like Mercedes-Benz, Volvo, Nissan, Toyota, Alfa Romeo, Ferrari, Audi, Honda, Renault and Volkswagen.

BMW will use the iPod Out feature from the iOS 4 to display iPod interface on an external screen for gadgets using the latest version. The interface being Apple's will use the BMW iDrive system and this appears to be a blend of Front Row and old traditional iPod interfaces, the advantage being less distraction which can be attributed to zero graphics. IPhone 3G, 3GS and 4, and second and third generation iPod Touch users can connect to the system.

This safe system ensures that those behind the wheel needn't browse when driving. This interface could just be the next rage amongst IPod users and those with luxury cars. As for great music, no ne can doubt the brilliance of Genius mixes, and playlists.
