BMW X7 full-size SUV is spotted for the first time
Earlier this year, BMW had confirmed that they are working on a bigger X SUV, the biggest till date. To be called X7, this new BMW SUV is expected to be launched in the markets by 2017/18, and it will be manufactured at their plant in the US, from where it will be exported around the globe.
Usually, when a car’s launch is a good 3-4 years away, you don’t really expect to spot a prototype. But that’s exactly what has happened, surprisingly. Parked as if its any other car, the BMW X7 is now revealed in first its first spy shots. To feature three row seating for 7, BMW X7 will take on the likes of Mercedes Benz GL Class once launched.
BMW is already running their plants to capacity. So, how will they accommodate the X7 production. Well, they have already assigned investments which would see the production at their Spartanburg, US plant to increase from present 300,000 units to 450,000 units annually by 2016.
