Buddh International Circuit trip for Indian cricket team after Australia win. ndian captain MS Dhoni rode around the circuit on his roadbike Hellcat.
Indian cricketers win over team Australia in the latest test series resulted in them claiming the Border Gavaskar Trophy by 4-0 margin at the Feroz Shah Kotla. To celebrate this victory, some of the Indian cricketers zoomed around the Buddh International Circuit at Greater Noida. Indian captain MS Dhoni rode around the circuit on his roadbike Hellcat. Other cricketers such as Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli, Ajinkya Rahane, Ishant Sharma and Prgayan Ojha also accompanied the skipper and headed to the track on early Monday morning to get a taste of the much acclaimed Formula 1 Track.
Dhoni is well known for his love of superbikes and has a variety of these to his name. Ishant Sharma came in an Audi RS5, while Tendulkar and Kohli sped around the tracks in instructor driven sports cars. The cricketer’s presence at the Buddh International Circuit took officials present by surprise as they watched them enjoying a sport of a different kind and shaking off the built up tension of defending team Australia against whom the Indian cricket team has faced many defeats in the past. The team not only sped around the track, but even stopped at turns and surveyed the track while they also spent time in race control room. Ishan Sharma took his Ishant Sharma and his Audi RS 5 around.
Dhoni unfortunately had to tackle a bulkier bike and promised himself to get a better sports bike the next time he got such an opportunity. The Indian captain also expressed his interest to be at BIC at the November Superbike World Championships. He also owns Mahi Racing, a team which takes part in the World Supersport Championships. Probably his wish will come true unless he is off competing in another cricket match during that period.
