By 2015 DHL to induct the Renault Kangoo Z.E. and Zoe within its fleet
The singing of this new partnership cements the bond between Renault and DHL. The company had already chosen DHL as the forbearer for these electric vehicles when it chose DHL for delivery of battery shipments to ZE delivery centers in and around France.
Though the company has confirmed the order of 50 vehicles, it said that they would like to boost the fleet in the near future depending on the needs of their logistics and transportation segment.
Renault cars are light and zippy and their passenger cars are top of the line where technology and carbon efficient engines are concerned. Through its partnership with Nissan, Renault is looking to transform the world with zero emission vehicles for transportation.

Renault will supply DHL France with a fleet of electric vehicles by 2015. A total 50 vehicles have already been confirmed. The first four which are Kangoo Z.E., will be delivered by the end of 2012. Renault already chose DHL in 2011 to manage the logistics of battery shipments to all Z.E. centres and expert sites across France. The new partnership signed today strengthens the cooperation between Renault and DHL in the development of electric vehicles in France.
DHL, the global leader in transport and logistics, chose Renault to help it develop the use of electric vehicles as part of its activities. DHL has already confirmed an order of 50 vehicles, comprising both Kangoo Z.E. and ZOE, to be delivered between now and 2015. Additional orders will depend on the different potential needs.
François Guionnet, director of Renault Parc Entreprises said: “Renault is particularly proud to take part in this key stage of DHL’s GoGreen Program, which aims to reduce the carbon emissions of DHL by 30% by 2020.”
