The latest addition to Cadillac’s portfolio is the XTS luxury sedan production in China. The vehicle has been designed to exude artful engineering and luxury. China is one of Cadillac’s most sought after markets and the addition of the XTS to the portfolio in this region will help to attract more customers and increase sales considerably.
It boasts of 150 dealer locations and is hoping to increase this number to 250 in the next two years. Cadillac has sold an impressive 30,000 vehicles here in 2012 and aspires to top 100,000 vehicles by 2015. The Cadillac XTS is locally assembled and is powered by a 2.0L turbo powertrain (269Hp/255Nm) and a 3.5L V6 engine (309Hp/360Nm), both of which have been mated to a six speed automatic for improved performance and handling.
Spacious and luxurious interiors integrated with high tech entertainment and infotainment features complete this package. Advanced safety systems, CUE system for connectivity and Standard magnetic ride control are some other features associated with the new Cadillac XTS. Made in China by the Shanghai- GM JV, the model will be priced from 349,900 Yuan to 569,900 Yuan.
