Entry level hatchback seekers would be interested to know that Hyundai Eon gets discounts of up to Rs. 41,376. This is for the iRDE engine variant, that delivers 21.1 kmpl mileage (as per ARAI).
Those who are in the lookout for a C segment sedan, be advised that Volkswagen Vento has offers up to Rs. 1.20 lakhs. As Vento facelift, similar to VW Polo facelift is expected to launch in September 2014 with new 1.5 litre TDI diesel engine, also seen in new Polo. Spy shots of upcoming VW Vento were posted recently. As far as outgoing model of Vento is concerned, base variant diesel gets direct cost reduction of Rs. 90,000 and exchange offer of up to Rs. 30,000 will be counted. Highline diesel variant of Vento gets around Rs. 80,000 off and mid-variant petrol receives a sum of about Rs. 65,000 discount.
Maruti lovers can get SX4 sedan at around Rs. 90,000 off of original price tag of all variants. With such a hefty discount on plate, SX4 would not at all be a bad option. Resale value later on will be compensated by this offer, should you recycle it in a couple of years. Production of same was stopped giving way for its replacement, Maruti Ciaz to arrive shortly.
