Alvaro Bautista, MotoGP racer of the San Carlo Honda Gresini team came to India and interacted with some enthusiastic bikers at the capital. Castrol Power 1 was the major sponsor of the event and as part of this campaign asked biking enthusiasts of India as to what they would do to Ride to MotoGP. There was an enthusiastic response from all the young and adventurous biking fraternity who posted videos through Facebook applications which saw a total of 20,000 users and 1735 entries.
Bikers were also invited for live screenings of MotoGP 2012 races which was over 5 lakh bikers join in this virtual journey on motorcycle racing to which Castol has been committed over the ages. The winners of Ride to MotoGP will be able to see the MotoGP live at Sepang to be held at the end of October. John Abraham is the Brand Ambassador and will also be present to cheer on Alvaro Bautista who is eagerly awaiting a podium finish this season after his success at the Motegi Circuit in Japan last weekend.

Castrol Power1 supported rider of San Carlo Honda Gresini team, Alvaro Bautista, met some of India‚Äôs most passionate bikers in New Delhi, as part of the Castrol Power1 Ride to MotoGP campaign.
As part of the campaign, Castrol Power1 asked Indian bikers what they would do to ‚ÄėRide To MotoGP‚Äô. Bikers expressed their passion for MotoGP by posting videos and through a Facebook application, which saw 20,000 users and 1,735 entries.
Castrol Power1 also engaged with a community of over 5,00,000 bikers nationwide, through a virtual journey on motorcycle racing and Castrol‚Äôs century long association with the same. Passionate bikers were also invited for live screenings of MotoGP 2012 races.
The winners of the Castrol Power1 Ride to MotoGP contest will experience the thrill of seeing a MotoGP race live at Sepang later this month, with Castrol Power1 Brand Ambassador John Abraham. They will also be cheering for Alvaro Bautista who looks to clinch yet another podium position this season, the latest being the third place finish at Motegi circuit in Japan last weekend.
