Chevrolet Enjoy MPV spied near GM India plant in Halol

General Motors India has already announced the commencement of production of their much awaited Chevrolet Enjoy MPV from the company plant in Halol, Gujarat. Production is well underway and the company hopes to see this new multi purpose vehicle making its way into the market within the next 2 months, and in company showrooms by end of March 2013.

Enjoy will be introduced both with petrol and diesel engines. Chevrolet Enjoy petrol variant will be fitted with a 1.4 liter engine offering 94.6 bhp power while the diesel variant will come in with a 1.3 liter Fiat sourced Multi jet engine with Fixed geometry Turbocharger. Prices are expected in the range of INR 8 to 9 lakhs, which is considered on par with other MPVs, present in Indian markets, including market leader Maruti Suzuki Ertiga. Chevrolet have a total of 285 showrooms, 278 service centers and 75 pre owned vehicle stores in India and are looking to expand operations to infiltrate even further into the Indian market.
