Chevrolet takes 2 kids from India as mascots for Manchester United

2 children from New Delhi will step in as mascots for Manchester United’s opening Premier League match of the 2014/15 season. The duo, alongwith 9 others will attend soccer school, tour Old Trafford and meet first team members and club legends.

Chevrolet India Kshitij9 other kids of 11 selected, join in from Brazil, China, Indonesia, South Africa, South Korea and US· General Motors has pledged to donate over 25,000 Chevrolet-branded indestructible footballs in India through 2014. the giveaways are planned for underprivileged children as a Corporate Social Responsibility Programme.

Akash and Kshitij will travel to Manchester from New Delhi, India this week where they take on the coveted responsibility of team mascot during Manchester United’s game against Swansea on Saturday at Old Trafford. The eleven selected children are part of Chevrolet’s “What Do You #PlayFor?” campaign.
