Chevrolet takes 2 kids from India as mascots for Manchester United
2 children from New Delhi will step in as mascots for Manchester United’s opening Premier League match of the 2014/15 season. The duo, alongwith 9 others will attend soccer school, tour Old Trafford and meet first team members and club legends.
Akash and Kshitij will travel to Manchester from New Delhi, India this week where they take on the coveted responsibility of team mascot during Manchester United’s game against Swansea on Saturday at Old Trafford. The eleven selected children are part of Chevrolet’s “What Do You #PlayFor?” campaign.
Arvind Saxena, President & Managing Director, General Motors India said the move enables the selected children to live the dream of being on the Old Trafford pitch with the team to celebrate Chevrolet’s global partnership with Manchester United and is an inspiration for football fans everywhere.
