Chevrolet takes 2 kids from India as mascots for Manchester United
2 children from New Delhi will step in as mascots for Manchester Unitedâ€™s opening Premier League match of the 2014/15 season. The duo, alongwith 9 others will attend soccer school, tour Old Trafford and meet first team members and club legends.
9 other kids of 11 selected, join in from Brazil, China, Indonesia, South Africa, South Korea and USÂ· General Motors has pledged to donate over 25,000 Chevrolet-branded indestructible footballs in India through 2014. the giveaways are planned for underprivileged children as a Corporate Social Responsibility Programme.
Akash and Kshitij will travel to Manchester from New Delhi, India this week where they take on the coveted responsibility of team mascot during Manchester Unitedâ€™s game against Swansea on Saturday at Old Trafford. The eleven selected children are part of Chevroletâ€™s â€śWhat Do You #PlayFor?â€ť campaign.
