This project was part of the Audi Urban Future initiative and was designed to showcase the change of transportation one will see in the coming years. Through this initiative, 9 visions from students have been incorporated within a grid that showcases the Lowline within cities own inventory of underground spaces. A fifty foot long suspended model of the Manhattan subway was also on display at this exhibition.
In this model one will be able to see the whole layout of each and every single subway station that this line has. The 1:1500, scale replica was put up in collaboration with a proposal that showcases the world’s first underground park to be developed on the Lower East Side of NYC.
