Collection of 6 Batmobiles and documentary feature at 2012 Comic Con: The Dark Knight Rises Tumbler ( preview video)

Broadcast network premiere of new half-hour special on history and evolution of Batmobile – The Batmobile – will air on Monday, July 16, 8:00-8:30 pm ET on The CW. The new documentary is being previewed at San Diego’s Comic Con 2012 festival on Thursday and one can’t miss The Dark Knight Rises Tumbler sitting put.

All 6 of the spectacular and futuristic Batmobiles used in various Batman films and TV shows are on display at Comic-Con. In the documentary, the Batmobile traces its history ever since its inception in the 1930s to the present day. Archival footage images and illustrations are used besides interviews with filmmakers, designers, stuntmen, actors and fans all go into projecting The Batmobile.

Those interviewed include Christian Bale and Adam West while Directors Christopher Nolan, Joel Schumacher and Tim Burton all eagerly spoke of the upcoming movie. The Batmobile is from New Wave Entertainment and Warner Bros. San Diego Comic-Con International began has peaked fans interest with documentary preview on Thursday giving one a glimple into the history and evolution of Batman’s iconic vehicle.

 

Batmobiles documentary preview
