Country set to host 2012 Airtel Indian Grand Prix from today
After a resounding success last year, Sunday, October 28th at 3.00pm will see the second Indian Grand Prix take place at Buddh International Circuit, Noida…
Outgoing McLaren racer Lewis Hamilton said that though drivers run the show it is the large number of fans that make the race special and the Indian GP is expected to be the most exciting races with the number of fans that comes out in support of the event. Last year it was lady Gaga who enthralled crowds while this year guitar legend Carlos Santana will playing at the Galgotias University Grounds in Greater Noida.
Where the actual race events are concerned, ticket sales are currently lower than last year, and parking space has been increased from 15000 to 21000. Weather is expected to be conducive during the coming weekend with track heat being one of the main reasons for scheduling of the events at the end of October.
