Daimler India Commercial Vehicles BharatBenz launch Light-duty trucks range

Daimler India Commercial Vehicles Pvt. Ltd has launched a new range of light duty trucks under the BharatBenz brand. The same will be initiated from the company manufacturing unit in Oragadam, Chennai. These three light duty trucks under the BharatBenz range will include 914, 1214 and 1217. The former two will be directed towards haulage segment while the latter will be specifically suited to the construction segment.

All three will be available at the company’s dealerships across the country. To celebrate this spectacular launch, the company is hosting a weeklong celebration with special invitees totaling 1200 customers who will be offered an in-depth look at these three new trucks besides the entire range of BharatBenz vehicles. Visitors will also be offered a look at new state of the art manufacturing unit and test track while taken through various processes of testing and manufacturing.

These light duty trucks are based on FUSO Fighter where its chassis is concerned and on FUSO Canter for Cab platforms. These trucks are put through a series of tests over a 7.5 million test kms ensuring that they live upto demands and have proved their worth where fuel efficiency cabin comforts and safety features are concerned.
