M&M said today that it plans to launch 6-7 new variants of its existing vehicles in fiscal year 2010-2011. The company will also formally start production of pick up trucks in US by April 2010. Fiat India has decided to expand its dealer network by adding 10 new dealers to its network by this year end to take the count to 110 from 100 currently. Honda has decided to recall around 8,000 units of its best selling "City" over  defective power window switches issue. The vehicles that are set to be recalled were manufactured in 2007. The decision came after the company decided a global recall of 6.46 lakh units of City and Jazz over the defective windows switches.
