Datsun sedan is being produced with local components and will differ vastly from the Go and Go+ compact cars which are being presented for India and Indonesia. Go and Go+ will not be making their way to Russian markets while the new compact sedan is unlikely to go on sale in India.
Datsun plans to keep prices of its first sedan highly affordable due to which they are depending solely on localization. The model will differ from Go and Go+ as these are passed on Nissan V Platform while the Datsun sedan will be based on underpinning derived from the Granta.
Slated to come in at an entry price of 380,000 Rubles (INR7.19 lakhs) production of Datsun sedan will commence early next year. Sales however will only commence after the Datsun sedan is presented at 2014 Moscow International Auto Salon in August. (via)
