Go+ MPV, the second car from the Datsun stable, is based on Datsun Go hatchback, which was revealed in New Delhi back in July 2013. Go+ is expected to make India debut at the 2014 Auto Expo in Delhi. A brochure giving details of this car has been revealed where it is seen that the Go+ will weigh just 794 kgs, thus making it one of the lightest MPV on sale in India, once launched.

Measuring 3,995 mm in length,1,635 mm in width and standing 1,485 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2,450 mm, the new Datsun Go+ will come in with a Nissan 1.2 liter three cylinder petrol engine offering peak power of 68 PS and peak torque of 104 Nm, mated to a 5 speed manual transmission. Keeping length at 3,995mm means that the company can take advantage of certain excise duty cuts which will allow it to maintain prices at affordable levels. These competitive prices will enable the Datsun Go+ to compete with the likes of Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and Mahindra Quanto.

Go+ will be offered in five colors of Reddish Gold, White Solid, Silver Metallic, Grey Metallic and Black Solid, and will come in at a starting price of 100 million Rupiah (INR 5.27 lakhs) in Indonesia. The company will be selling the Go+ from a dedicated section at existing Nissan dealer showrooms.
