Datsun Go MPV bookings cross 3500 units in Indonesia
Launched on 8th May 2014, the new Datsun Go+ MPV has made a phenomenal impact on buyers in Indonesia. Bookings in just two months have gone well over the 3,500 mark while the Jakarta Fair at JI Expo, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta organized from June 6 to July 6 2014 is expected to bring in even more sales for the company.
Called as Go Panca + in Indonesia, where Panca in Indonesian means 5 while the â€ś+â€ť is the name given to the Datsun Go MPV, signifying its added space in the third row for either extra passengers or extra baggage. The Datsun Go+ Panca is being eagerly viewed by Indonesians as an ideal family car and regaled for its first in class interior space, durability, accessibility and comfort. It is powered by a 1.2 liter engine mated to a 5 speed manual transmission offering 68 hp peak power.
The Go+ Pance features a connected front seat, a speed sensing wiper system and multi information display besides follow-me-home headlights. A mobile docking station also presents itself on board the new Go+ Panca while added accessories at affordable prices will allow buyers to add a personal touch to thisÂ family car.
In Indonesia, Datsun Go+MPVÂ is being offered in five variants to include D, A, A Optional, T, and T Optional. These five variants of the 5+2 seater MPV are all priced between IDR 85 to IDR 103 million (INR 4.27 lakhsÂ to INR 5.17 lakhs).
As far as India launch concerned, expect it to be launched by Diwali later this year. Shown at the 2014 Delhi Auto Expo earlier this year, Datsun Go MPV has already been spied testing in India. Once launched, Datsun Go+ will compete with Maruti Ertiga and Honda Mobilio.
