DC Design teases sub-Nano car prior to debut at Auto Expo
DC Design, India’s most famous after-market car customizer, DC Design is entering into car production. At the 2014 Delhi Auto Expo, they will give the keys to the first owners of their first car, Avanti. Apart from this, the firm which is headed by Dilip Chhabria will also unveil two new models at the 2014 Auto Expo. One of them, is now teased.
Heading to the 2014 Auto Expo in February is the new sub-Nano compact car designed by DC Design. The Indian design house will be showcasing two products at the show which will include this compact model and another four seater convertible SUV, probably the production version of the Tornado Concept.
Teased image is too small to decipher exactly what one can expect from this small car designed by DC Designs, but it will be a two seater that could measure less than 7’ in length. Both new DC cars are being released at the 2014 Auto Show and for a select section of car buyers in India. The price of these new DC cars are estimated to be in the bracket of INR 18-40 lakhs.
Apart from this, DC Design will also flag off their first batch of 25 cars of DC Avanti at the Auto Expo, which was first shown at last edition of Delhi Auto Expo. These models will be handed over to customers at a price of INR 25 lakhs. DC Design has extensive plans for expansion in India. Currently having a total of 14 showrooms across the country, the Auto Design majors are slated to open three more showrooms next month while from June this year, DC Design Talegaon plant in Pune will see increased capacity to the tune of 100 units of Avanti per month.
