The past weekend saw Deadmau5 travel extensively across Mumbai, Bangalore, and NCR for 3 back to back shows. Before his final electronic dance music extravaganza at BIC, he used the F1 track to film another episode of Coffee run!, this time with Daler Mehndi. The duo spoke about driving the Lamborghini (their chosen car for the Coffee Run minus coffee), good music and bad music, good bollyhood and bad bollywood, lyrics, and more during their Buddh International Circuit stint.
Whether or not their Coffee Run topics of discussion interests you, one thing you can’t miss is the sound of the Lambo on its free run, and the fact that both are extremely excited to be driving around in BIC. They even high five about the fact that their tour managers would never let them do something like this. There’s no doubt everyone loves a fast car. And just like the drive had no pre-runs before filming, both artists had no rehearsals before the evening. After his round with Daler, Deadmau5 proceeded to take his tour manager for a lap on BIC. While top speed is over 200 mph, on the day the Canadain artist did reach 200 mph.
Those at the event saw a never seen before collaboration between Daler Mehndi and Deadmau5 Sunburn Arena at Delhi. R3hab opened the show for the Deadmau5 Sunburn Arena tour of India. The Dutch DJ/Producer recently won IDMA best Breakthrough Artist Award. Deadmau5 is releasing an album. And yes while in Delhi, he did get up and close to an auto rickshaw (tuk tuk) as have countless others to the three wheeled public transport wonder.
