Dhoni plans opening superbike showroom
Mahendra Singh Dhoni, captain of India’s cricket team, is as well known for his batting prowess on the cricket ground as he is for his love and handling of super bikes. The proud owner of over 30 two wheelers, the young cricket captain has sought permission to open a new bike showroom in Ranchi.
Mahendra Singh Dhoni, the lone Indian sportsman to figure on the Forbes list of world’s 100 highest paid athletes has been ranked 22nd on the list with total earnings of $30 million and endorsements to the tune of $26 million.
Dhoni has planned this new bike showroom Ranchi which is his hometown. With this showroom, he plans on pursuing his passion for superbikes, in an all new way. Dhoni is in the process of seeking permission from local authorities for the registration of the shopping complex in which his bike showroom will be housed while he is also pushing for the installation of a borewell.
Dhoni owns a large number of superbikes such as Ducati’s, Harley Davidson’s, BMW’s and the like. The new superbike showroom will be in a ten storey building situated in Haidal area in Ranchi.
Dhoni has marked his position as one of the best captains of the Indian cricket team. He has led the Indian national team to victory in the 2013 ICC Champions Trophy thus making him the first national captain to ever win all three ICC trophies to date. He also owns a professional racing team called Mahi Racing. He is also associated with BFI – Bike Festival of India, a new venture which will bring bikers across India together in a unique manner.
