2015 Land Rover Discovery Sport shows it’s third row seating
The new Land Rover Discovery Sport is on its way and set to go on sale in 2015 when it will take the place of the Freelander. Today, Land Rover reveals a set of new photos and video, revealing further more information about the car.
2015 Land Rover Discovery Sport will be a comfortable seven seater with ample interior space for passengers and cargo, at the same time retaining its compact footprint. No engine specifications have been revealed as on date but expect it to be offered in both petrol and diesel Ingenium four cylinder engine options.
Slated to be the brandâ€™s most important model in the compact SUV segment, the upcoming Land Rover Discovery Sport has been confirmed to come in with standard 5+2 seating in the UK, thus adding to its versatility and its appeal as a compact SUV for larger families.
2015 Land Rover Discovery Sport will be produced from the company plant in Halewood, UK while prototypes of the SUV has already set out for final testing across varied landscapes in a host of countries across the world.
The Discovery Sport will be making its presence felt later this year at the 2014 Paris Motor Show where it will be showcased along with the Jaguar XE sedan. Both Discover Sport and the new Discovery will go on sale next year. Once successfully launched, the 2015 Discovery Sport will find competition from the Audi Q5, BMW X3, Mercedes ML Class and Volvo XC90.
