Dita Von Teese fans can get on Ebay to bid on a French-Blue 1939 Packard 120 sedan owned by her. Restored a decade earlier, the smooth running classic drives beautifully as advertised by the seller. The Manual transmission RWD sedan from 1939 houses a super 8 engine. Having driven 29,000 kms, it was rebuilt when restored.
The paint isn’t peeling off just as yet and doesn’t warrant an immediate paint job. The electrical system doesn’t act up, and gauges and lights are functional and houses a rare and original factory Tachometer. Dita Von Teese had new Coker Radial wide white tyres put on less than a year ago. The Packard flying lady hood marquee with etched glass detail still stnads on. The vehicle by it’s own right has quite a history having been used by Dita to drive to events, and has been featured in photo shoots, and videos, and was also a part of the Forbes story regarding her classic car collection.
The Packard is being sold as Dita has purchased a 1940 Cadillac LaSalle convertible sedan, and hopes someone who cares for classic cars buys the vehicle, and drives it. At present, the highest bid stands at US $13,100 after 34 bids. Time left to bid stands at 5d 23h (May 17, 201310:10:38 PDT) at present. The reserve has not yet been met. Vehicle pick-up or shipping charges need to be borne by the buyer.
