Udit photographed the delivery boy riding on a bike with the garbage bags overflowing from his delivery box. These images were immediately uploaded on Twitter on Friday and has been retweeted a total of 491 times ever since. Udit approached the man at the Dominos outlet and questioned him on the contents of his delivery box for which he apologized profusely.
Domino’s Pizza outlet has also contacted Udit on twitter asking for his phone number. Their guest relations officer has called Udit on many occasions requesting him to take off the tweet for which Udit refused as he wanted the word to spread far and wide.
Udit has also got calls from Domino’s West Zone Head, Mr Naveen Kapoor asking what they could do to make amends. Udit, is unconvinced of their claim to have strict checks in place and has asked them to either close down the outlet or issue a public apology.

UPDATE – Domino’s India has issued the following statement
“This incident was a one-off act of omission, on part of couple of our employees of the concerned restaurant. We have fired two errant employees including the restaurant manager, who had acted against the company policies and standards of quality and hygiene. We have sanitized all the bikes of the concerned restaurant. A special training has been rearranged for all the employees working in restaurant so that the same incident is never repeated again in the future. We have also advised our quality teams to maintain strict monitoring on this issue. We assure all our patrons that we will continue to adhere to strict quality standards to serve them the best quality food.” Harneet Singh Rajpal, VP Marketing, Domino’s Pizza India.
