Dr. Wolf-Stefan Specht Head of Volkswagen Passenger Cars sales India and Far East from 1st April 2013

John P White takes over as Managing Director of Volkswagen Group Australia while Maria Stenström has been appointed head of Volkswagen Group Canada. White, 57 will assume his new office as Managing Director Volkswagen Group and Brand Director Volkswagen Passenger Cars from 1st April 2013 and take the place of Anke Köckler who moves on to a new position.

White has been associated with Volkswagen Group ever since 1993. He was appointed Vice President Operations at VW Canada in 2003 and has held offices of responsibility for VW Group and business in Canada since 2008 Maria Stenström, on the other hand has recently joined VW Group in 2011. Earlier with International Marketing Planning at VW, Maria Stenström became Head of VW Passenger Cars in India and Far East in December 2011.

She was earlier Vice President Global Marketing at Volvo in Sweden. She also assumes her new office from 1st April 2013. Maria joins Canadian operations at a time when both VW and Audi brands are experiencing increased growth having posted sales increases in each of the last five years.
