As per convention, Ducati has showcased their entire 2013 range at the 77th edition of EICMA International Motorcycle Show in Milan being held from 15th to 18th November 2012. The collection of new and pioneering models is the handiwork of Ducati’s exceptionally talented engineers and designers who have come up with this innovative range of motorcycles on display.
Being presented at the Milano-Rho Fair Auditorium, Gabriele Del Torchio, CEO of Ducati Motor Holding addressed audience and press where he spoke of company’s success in an otherwise difficult market and economic situation prevalent across the globe. He confirmed the company’s present position and future prospects as well as their recent acquisition by the Audi Group which will go a long way in ensuring their success.
The company now looks ahead to enhanced growth by end of 2012 which according to expectations is slated for a 20% increase with over 44,000 motorcycles registered. Exports are looking up with 90% of their products from the Borgo Panigale Factory in Bologna heading to foreign shores. USA is a major market while the company also caters to markets of the Far East and Latin America reaping rich benefits. At the press conference, the Ducati riders for the 2013 racing season was also announced.
