Fast and Furious pays tribute to Paul Walker: Shuts filming FnF7
It’s been about a week since Paul Walker was killed in a car crash. The news of his untimely death left his fans and colleagues from Fast and Furious franchise in disbelief. In an attempt to pay tribute to Paul, Fast and Furious has revealed an emotional video, featuring some of the special moments Paul had while filming FnF movies.
It is at the funeral that Gibson makes O’Conner promise that there will be no more funerals but O’Conner answers ‘just one more’ referring to Jason Statham’s character Ian Shaw who plays a villain in the upcoming movie. The clip shows all of the crew mourning death of their friend who passed away at the conclusion of the 6th edition of the film. This leaked video is part of the upcoming DVD release of Fast & Furious 6 which releases on December 10.
Speaking about continuing with filming of 7th edition of FnF, Universal Studios said, “Right now, all of us at Universal are dedicated to providing support to Paul’s immediate family and our extended ‘Fast & Furious’ family of cast, crew and filmmakers. At this time we feel it is our responsibility to shut down production on ‘Fast & Furious 7′ for a period of time so we can assess all options available to move forward with the franchise.”
