Bentley SUV to be fastest ever on sale, once launched
British marquee Bentley is geared up to set records with their new 2016 SUV, which is expected to be ‘world’s most powerful and luxurious SUV’. Based on the EXP 9F SUV concept, showcased at 2012 Geneva Motor Show, the new SUV will be the third car after Mulsanne and Continental range.
Bentley’s upcoming SUV will be produced at the Bentley’s facility at Crewe, Cheshire, England. Promising both luxury and power, the SUV will compete with others in its range to include the BMW X5 and X6M, Porsche Cayenne Turbo S and Range Rover Sport SVR. It will be powered by a 4.0 liter V8 plus engine while a 6.0 liter W12 will also be offered. The 6.0 W12 develops 626 bhp power and 820 Nm torque while the 4.0 V8 is capable of 512 bhp power and torque of 680 Nm mated to an 8 speed automatic transmission while a 10 speed gearbox will also be an option.
Where exterior styling is concerned, the new SUV from Bentley will see design cues from EXP 9F Concept, Continental GT and Flying Spur while interiors will sport digital instrument cluster and a host of metallic accents and wooden trims.
