Ferrari 458 Speciale with Michelin tyres, public debut at Frankfurt Motor Show 2013
Come September and the Ferrari 458 Speciale will be making its first public appearance at the Frankfurt Motor Show. This is the third version of the 458 Italia and comes with Ferrari’s core philosophy where technology, aerodynamics and performance are concerned.
Max power output stands at 605 cv at 9000 rpm and max torque is at 540 Nm at 6000 rpm. The 458 Speciale can also accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 3.0 seconds and from 0 to 200 kmph in 9.1 seconds and has proved its speed across the Fiorano Circuit clocking 1:23:5.
Ferrari has worked along with Pininfarina to sculpt the car so that it offers better aerodynamics which balances downforce and cuts drag thus making the 458 Speciale the most efficient production car in the Ferrari lineup. The car is also fitted with Side Slip Angle Control System contributing to better driving control. New Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tyres equip the Ferrari 458 Speciale. Tyre sizes for the new Ferrari 458 Speciale are MICHELIN Pilot Sport Cup 2 245/35 ZR 20 91 Y in the front, and 305/30 ZR 20 103 Y in the rear.
