First-ever LaFerrari spotted in India: Showstopper for 2015 Parx Super Car Show?

First part of the statement above is Ferrari LaFerrari. To recall how invigorating its specs sound, just as its nameplate; it is powered, nay launched by a 6.3 litre V12 engine in the measure of 800 PS of madness @ 9000 rpm, and when the HY-KERS (hybrid) electric motor is counted, net power becomes a mind-boggling 963 PS. Total peak torque of this untameable machine reads 900 Nm @ 9,250 rpm. To put these numbers into a context, Ferrari LaFerrari sprints from 0-100 kmph in under 3 seconds, and does 0-300 kmph in just around 15 seconds.

As for the second part, of Ferrari LaFerrari being one of the most exclusive supercars, is said because only 499 units of the race machine were destined to roll out, and this is first time the car is spotted in India. Of course there are many auto aficionados in India who can afford the hypercar but that is not enough to become the proud owner of LaFerrari. The Maranello company chooses among the number of requests sent to buy this car, as they want LaFerrari owners to have a long standing history of lining up Ferraris in their garage.

But the super exclusive Italian model is resold by proud owners at $3.4 million

As for the final part, what is the Ferrari LaFerrari doing on the streets of Worli, Mumbai, and more importantly, who is behind the wheel?

We do not know the exact details, but as you can hear in the video below, (shot by Hrishikesh Manjrekar – SupercarsofMumbai), excited enthusiasts shouting the name Singhania. In India, if its Ferrari, and you hear Singhania, its got to be the renowned supercar fanatic, Gautam Hari Singhania, Chairman & Managing Director of Raymond Group.

If you remember, back in January 2013, Mr Singhania had tweeted some exclusive details about the Ferrari LaFerrari. This was much before the official debut of LaFerrari in March at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. Mr Singhania was one of the few select individuals in the world, who was invited for the private preview of LaFerrari. Considering he liked the car, it seems Mr Singhania has managed to get himself a LaFerrari, and finally it has arrived in India.

If it is really Mr Singhania behind the wheel, you can expect the LaFerrari to be the star attraction at 2015 Parx Super Ccar Show at RWITC Race Course Turf Club, Mahalakshmi Nagar, Mumbai, on 10th and 11th January.
