Fiat 500L successor 500XL seven seater images leaked: headed for Paris? (Photos)
Fiat 500L with five seats has already been revealed officially. Fiat 500L minivan is ready to be launched in European markets by September or October…
It is also believed that Fiat has collaborated with Jeep in order to perfect the 500XL. The seven seater variant of 500L is longer by 150 mm so as to accommodate extra space in its hold. Production of 500XL is slated to begin by the end of 2013, while launch is expected thereafter.
Initially, Fiat will offer the 500XL in European markets. After which it will be launched in South America and Asia. North American markets will be skipped as buyers here will be least interested in a small seven seater.
500L mini trekker too is on the cards and is based on the same design as Fiat five seater 500L while a trekking nameplate will be added for extra effect. Larger front grills, protruding rear bumper, raised suspension for better off roading effect and electronically controlled front differentials have been added to the trekker. When and where these drawings will actually become a reality is to be seen. Perhaps Fiat will bring it to the Paris Motor Show which will start on September 29th, 2012.
Images of Fiat 500XL here are from Centro Stile Fiat (Fiat Style Center), their design facility in Italy where brands of Fiat Auto; Maserati, Abarth, Lancia, Alfa Romeo and Fiat Professional get designed.
