The latter gives us more knowledge about the compact SUV crossover, in terms of features offered when we see in showrooms pretty soon. The charming looking Avventura crossover misses out Daytime Running Lights (DRL) on its front bumpers, and bears old fashioned halogen fog lamps; otherwise the differences are not highly noticeable. Too bad the spy couldn’t click pictures all around the car.
Here comes the usual stuff; Fiat Avventura will look as much an SUV as possible with lower body cladding, serious looking bumpers, high clearance from ground, larger tires, tailgate mounted spare wheel, overhead railing, and the like. But will all that outsell Volkswagen Polo Cross and Toyota Etios Cross?
Inside the cabin, the Punto based crossover receives fair amount of interior styling from classy and elder Linea, who just got a facelift and extra load of features. Avventura too gets some cool tech to boast, on its own field of course, like the clinometer, tilt-meter and compass.
Engine you ask? We haven’t received any spy shots of under the bonnet matter yet, so our cards would read the same old 1.2 L petrol motor and a 1.4 L FIRE petrol mill being offered side by side, along with a 1.3 L Multijet diesel plant.
