Fiat floods Detroit with 500 variants at NAIAS 2013
At the ongoing Detroit Auto Show, Fiat has brought in a host of 500 variants. They have the 500 Abarth, 500L, 500e, 500 Gucci, 500 Mopar, and for the first time, two new concepts – 500 Tenebra and 500 Cativa.
Fiat has also brought in two new 500 design concepts to the NAIAS 2013. Fiat 500 Cativa is based on 500 Turbo which is seen with a Rame exterior with contrasting Nero accents. The exteriors are also given a distinguished appeal with Nero headlamp buckets, parking lamp bezels, tail lamps and a roof mounted spoiler.
The car sits on 16” alloy wheels painted in satin dark gray. Interiors are done up in leather with sports seating, Matte Nero instrument panel with a sound package of Beats Audio system. Fiat 500 Tenebra is based on 500 Abarth and is seen with a Matte Grigio exterior paint with Nero accents. The vehicle possesses Nero headlamp buckets along with parking and tail lamps while it sits on 16” alloy with Nero chrome finishes.
A distinguishing feature is its signature Abarth body side stripe in Grigio, while a large Abarth Scorpion logo dominates its roof. Interiors are seen with Tenebra performance seats upholstered in leather. The flat bottomed steering wheel, gear lever and handbrake are all wrapped in black leather with gray piping and stitching. The dashboard is in carbon fiber with a matte finish.
