Fiat Group new car launch plans till 2016 revealed

Fiat Group has planned some aggressive growth strategies to cement their growth in the automobile industry globally. The Italian company has revealed plans of new car launches and product refreshes which are set to make their way into global markets in the coming 5 years. A product sheet has found its way into circulation which gives details of new body styles being planned for cars of the future. Fiat 500X, the next generation of Punto and Linea are also in the making while the company will also be concentrating on their SUV segment as they share platforms with group brands such as Alfa, Romeo, Maserati and Jeep.

A new car is predicted for launch in the coming year which will find its way into countries of Europe, Middle East, Africa and India, which more likely will be the Fiat 500X crossover. This SUV will be produced from the company Melfi plant in Italy and is scheduled to be launched in Indian markets as well. In India, it will compete with the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga.

2015 will bring with it 4 new products and refreshes as mentioned in the product sheet. Most of these will find their way into Indian markets while the company is also in the process of setting up independent dealerships across India well before these products are released.
