Fiat India sold 950 cars in July 2013, Pune and Salem get dealerships
Fiat India is keen to expand its market share and has announced a slew of new products and expansion of sales and service networks across the country. With a current market share of less than 1%, the company is targeting 1% shortly while hope to increase this share two fold in the coming year.
9 new products and facelifts in the coming 3 years are planned. These will include four from the Chrysler brand and one from the Abarth marquee which will make its way into markets in the coming 3 years. Dealerships will be augmented from a current 70 to 100 by the end of this fiscal while expansion plans in Tier II and Tier III markets are also on the cards.
The Punto Sport 2013 was recently rolled out in Bangalore at a price of INR 7,74,089 (ex showroom Bangalore). The 2013 Punto Sport is fitted with a 1.3 liter advanced multijet diesel engine and is available in two colors or red and white.
