Fiat India to open 100 new dealerships in 2013: 70 by March

Enrico Atanasio, MD, Fiat India has revealed, that in an attempt to revive consumer belief, they will be extending their dealer network by 100 in 2013. Apart from this, new brand like Jeep and Abarth will also be launched this year.

Fiat Group Automobiles India has set about targeting metros and Tier I cities in their first phase of dealer expansion. The company has stated that their dealer networks will be added by another 100 by end of this year. The company has already signed agreements for top 35 cities in India and recently its first exclusive dealership in Noida was inaugurated.

70 exclusive dealerships will be opened by March 2013 while balance 30 will take place in the second phase wherein Tier 2 and 3 cities will be prime considerations. With extensive expansion plans in the offing, Fiat India will also launch their new sports version called Punto Abarth which will be launched in the third quarter of 2013. Fiat Chrysler Jeep Wrangler and Grand Cherokee will come in by end of this year.

The recently inaugurated world class dealership in Noida Phase II, consists of a 4,000 sq ft space with state of the art facilities. The dealership was inaugurated by Mr. Enrico Atanasio, MD of FIAT Group Automobiles India Pvt. Ltd. and the facility will be supported by latest machines and will be backed by a renowned commitment to serve customers.
