Speaking to a dealer in Pune, 8 Punto Evo’s have already been booked to date. Apart from this, the company has started offering hefty discounts on the older Punto of which the company has stopped production last month. These discounts are upto INR 50,000 out of which INR 35,000 is by way of cash discount and INR 15,000 is in the form of insurance and other benefits.
Fiat Moto Club has given us an insight into what one can expect to see within the confines of Punto Evo. Details have been disclosed showing off a refreshed dashboard in a brand new design and layout which is also seen on board the new Linea. Its center console receives a glossy black finish and on either sides of the dash are AC vents with faux carbon fiber accents.
Exteriors boast of new front and rear fascia with LED turn indicators and new alloy wheels. The soon to be launched Fiat Punto Evo will compete with Maruti Swift, Hyundai i20, VW Polo, (yet to be launched) Honda Jazz, Tata Bolt, as it comes in with an expected price tag of INR 5-7.5 lakhs.
