Fiat Punto Evo spied next to Linea facelift: Arrives at dealership
With the new Fiat Punto Evo expected to be launched later this month, the company has started preparing for promotional activities. Recently spotted in Mumbai, the car was now spotted inside their Fiat Caffe outlet in Koregaon Park, Pune. Apart from this, the Punto Evo has also been spotted at a company authorized dealership.
Fiat Punto Evo will be offered in both petrol and diesel engine options. This will include a 1.2 liter and 1.4 liter petrol and 1.3 liter diesel in two tunes. All variants are mated to 5 speed manual gearbox. Features on board the Punto Evo will include rear AC vents thus making the Punto Evo only the second hatchback after the Hyundai Grand i10 to possess such a feature.
Revised tail lights in continuous strip of LED tail lamps, revised front-end with inverted trapezoidal grille with plenty of chrome accents, dual rear fog lamps and twin five spoke alloy wheels form a part of its external makeup.
Interiors of the new Punto Evo will be seen with an upgraded dashboard also seen on the new Linea, central console with Piano Black finish, audio system and infotainment system to include Bluetooth connectivity, USB, Aux-in and CD player. The 2014 Punto Evo will be the first in its segment to portray ambient amber colored lighting.
Set to compete with Maruti Swift, Hyundai i20, Volkswagen Polo, Honda Jazz and Tata Bolt, the Punto Evo is expected to come in at a price from INR 5 to 7.5 lakhs.
