Fiat Punto EVO Sport will be top of the line diesel variant

Petrol Punto Evo Active and Dynamic trims will be powered by 1.2l petrol which generates 68 PS power and 96 Nm torque. Top of the line Punto Evo Petrol Emotion trim will come with 1.4l engine generating 90 PS power and 114 Nm torque. In diesel, all three trims – Active, Dynamic and Emotion, will be powered by the same 1.3l MulitJet engine generating 76 PS, while top of the line Punto Evo Sport will come with 93 PS.

As far as safety features are concerned, the Active and Dynamic do not come with airbags, while the Emotion and Sport trim gets front airbags. Features on offer are plenty, the base Active trim gets auto door lock, central door locking, engine immobilizer, fire prevention system, door open indicator, body coloured bumpers, dual tone dash, front power windows, digital odo, and 14 inch alloys with 165/80 tubeless tyres. In addition to Active trim, the Dynamic trim receives – ABS with EBD, boot lamp, fabric insert on door trims and door lamps, foldable key, electrically adjustable orvm, rear power windows, height adjustable driver seat and seatbelt, integrated CD/MP3/FM player with USB and Aux-In, speed sensitive volume control and outside temperature display.

In top of the line Emotion Punto Evo, following features will be on offer, in addition to that on offer with Dynamic trim – front airbags, passenger airbag deactivation, 3 point ELR seat belts with pre-tensioners and load limiters, chrome plated door handles, front fog lamps, ambient lighting on dash, automatic climate control, rear AC vents, leather wrapped steering wheel and gear knob, rear defogger, rear window wiper and washer, 15 inch diamond cut alloys with 195/60 tyres, steering mounted audio controls, sms readout, and voice controls.
Top of the line Punto Evo Sport will get all the above features, and in addition it will get sporty rear spoiler, all black dashboard, and 16 inch sporty alloys with 195/55 tyres.

A total of seven colour options will be on offer. These are in the form of Glitterati Gold (the one in the top image), Magnesio Grey, Exotica Red, Minimal Grey, Hip Hop Black, Vocal White, and Tuscan White.

Once launched, Fiat Punto Evo will compete with the likes of New Volkswagen Polo, Maruti Swift, Hyundai i20, and yet to be launched cars like Tata Bolt and Honda Jazz.
