Fiat Punto new spy shots; bookings open, launch in weeks

Fiat Punto spied

Fiat Punto is spied yet again, by ardent RushLane reader Ganesh Bhat. Looks like this mule is intended to make most miles, as similarly camouflaged test vehicles have been spotted earlier; could be same. But fortunate for us, completely revealed photos of new Punto have surfaced online already.

Fiat Punto spied2014 Fiat Punto shares exterior parts and assemblies like headlamps, LED tail lamps, fog lamps, side mirror with turn indicators, and such with upcoming Avventura crossover. Chrome enclosures of fog lamps, front grille and chrome connecting rear fog lamps make Punto facelift look distinct from current model.

Interiors are carried over from 2014 Fiat Linea, but it is doubtful if new Punto will bear same quality of dashboard and plastics. It is also uncertain if 2014 Punto will be available with dual tone (black & beige) interiors as spied earlier, since a dealer mentioned that only full black theme will be on offer.
