Fiat unveils Linea Facelift and 500 Abarth: Delhi Auto Expo
Fiat Linea facelift was unveiled at the 2014 Auto Expo. Sales of the new Linea sedan are expected to commence early March. Fiat also unveiled the 500 Abarth, but the long-awaited Jeep Wrangler and Grand Cherokee were not on display.
In a more mature design than its earlier counterpart, Fiat Linea facelift receives a redesigned grille, bumper design and fog lamp housing while side profile remains same. Interiors of new Linea have been vastly modified for a more premium look and come in a dual toned finish. Infotainment features abound and include audio system with Bluetooth, rain sensing wipers, cruise control and parking sensors. Fiat will be offering Linea with same engine options as seen in its predecessor.
A plan to launch the Abarth brand officially in India was also announced. Abarth is noted for its high performance Italian cars and one of its iconic models is the Abarth 500. Abarth500 gets sports seats, sun roof and xenon HID headlamps while safety features include 7 airbags, ABS with EBD and Hydraulic Brake Assist besides parking sensors, audio system and a whole lot more.
